Florida Roofing Contractors Set to Begin Work on the Legendary Naples Beach Club

NAPLES, FLORIDA (August 30, 2012) Located on 125 tropical acres along the Gulf of Mexico, The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club has been welcoming guests, groups and gatherings of every sort since 1946. Having committed to more than $50 million in luxurious and modern upgrades, Michael and Henry Watkins are bringing their family’s historic hotel into the new millennium. These renovations include the installation of several new roof systems across the hotel complex. West Coast FL Enterprises, specialists in commercial roofing in SW Florida, have been contracted through D. Garrett Construction to carry out the roof improvements.
The scope of the work is substantial, requiring expertise with Alpine steel trusses, aluminum standing seam roofing and a modified bitumen membrane system. The project also calls for the removal and replacement of approximately 20,000 sq ft of flat roofing and approximately 7,000 sq ft of trusses/metal roofing.

These trusses are so well balanced and designed with exceptional weight to strength ratios and design flexibility that installation is very efficient. The project is scheduled to start in August and conclude in October with improvements being made to the new Everglades dining room, Promenade rooms, kitchen areas and several other buildings. Improvements to the infrastructure of several Southwest Florida buildings, such as Marco Island’s The Apollo and the Sarasota VA National Cemetery attest to West Coast FL Enterprises’ expertise and reputation in the industry.
