Naples Philharmonic Gets New Roof

NAPLES, FLORIDA (August 20, 2017) – A Fort Myers based building restoration company replaced the roof at the Naples Philharmonic located on 5833 Pelican Bay Blvd, Naples, FL. West Coast Florida Enterprises (WCFE) began the project last year on May 16 and recently completed it in August 2017.

The company’s roofing division had been contracted to replace all green standing seam roof panels using new .040 Gage aluminum green standing seam panels. In addition they replaced all copings with new, all-perimeter decorative railings. Meanwhile, WCFE’s ornamental metals division removed, re-painted, and re-installed all railings and spires.

“In the past, we were given the opportunity to replace all flat roofs on the Artis-Naples property, including the stage roof,” said Scott Otey, VP – West Coast Florida Enterprises, Inc. “So we were super excited about this recent venture and to work with them again. In fact, we’ve been working with Alex and the executive team at The Artis for many many months to determine the details, schedule concerns, and product choices.”

Otey admits that one of the toughest aspects of the project is scheduling. For obvious reasons, his employees cannot be on the building during any performances, not an easy task. One look at the Artis-Naples’ calendar shows that the performing arts hall had multiple performances scheduled throughout 2016 and 2017.

“Fitting us in to their already-busy schedule has been a challenge but the Artis-Naples’ executive team has done an amazing job of accommodating us,” said Otey. “Regardless of weather conditions that we faced, we had a job to complete. We employed our BEST metal mechanics on this project to insure a high-quality product for the Artis!”
