Project Analysis
In April of 2023, our office was contacted by the Seagate Development Group with a request for a proposal for new flat roofing systems across 3 commercial buildings in Fort Myers, Florida.Â
The Solution
Once contracted, our teams mobilized and began removing the existing TPO membrane and insulation, flashing, and coping metal on the buildings. A 2″ ISO insulation system was installed per manufacturer requirements, along with crickets to promote positive drainage. Firestone’s 60 mil TPO roofing system was selected and installed on the buildings per Florida Product Approval requirements.
All wall flashings were installed up and over the parapet wall, along with walkway pads placed at roof access and mechanical equipment service areas.
Our craftsman fabricated and installed new .040 Kynar finished ES-1 Certified coping metal, along with new CLAD-metal scuppers turned down into collector boxes to complete the project.
Results
Within the course of 4 months, our team installed over 60,000 Sq. Ft. of Firestone’s TPO roofing system across 3 buildings. This was a rewarding project, and we couldn’t be more proud of our team for the amazing effort they put forth for this project!
