The Boca Grande Park & Community Center is home to several amenities and resources that residents throughout Lee County regularly utilize. From the auditorium to parks and recreation office areas, this facility provides programs and activities to the community.
As the community center resides within Lee County, our company was invited to provide a solution for the existing failed roof system
The Solution
Florida’s unpredictable weather patterns can take a toll on any roof. With the existing roofing structure compromised, a flat roof replacement was recommended instead of continuing with repairs. Once contracted our dedicated team went to work cleaning the roof to begin removing the existing wall and penetration flashings along with the cant strip at the base of the walls.
1″ ISO insulation 1/2″ and Densdeck cover board were mechanically attached to the deck and walls prior to the installation of FiberTite 50XT off-white membrane, which was attached per their manufacturer specifications. All penetration and wall flashings were installed along with Fiber-Clad scuppers to complete the building’s new flat roof installation.
Results
